Most of the banks ask for a graduate with at least 55%of marks in aggregate. If you got less than that, you won’t be eligible for the exam. In some bank recruitment notification, just a pass in graduation is enough to be eligible. Look for those banks and apply for the exams.

hi!

In most of the bank the eligibility criteria for applying as a PO is as follows:

Candidate must lie between the age group of 21 to 30 years.
Candidate must have completed graduation with at least 55 % aggregate from the recognized University
Candidates must have computer knowledge.

But different banks have different eligibility criteria. You should check the requirements of the bank before applying.

Here i am providing the eligibility criteria for bank PO exams.

Academic eligibility :
-One should have completed his 10+2 with a minimum of 60% of marks and 55% of marks in Graduation.

-For some banks, only percentage of marks in graduation is considered.

Age criteria :
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for the exam.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit and percentage of marks for the candidates of SC/ST.

So, if you have secured a minimum of 60% in your 10+2, and 55% in your graduation, then you are eligible to appear for bank PO exams.

Yes, you may be eligible to apply for bank P.O. as most of the banks required educational qualification as graduation from any stream with at least 55% marks and should be within the age group of 21 to 30 years.

Some banks like SBI requires 60% marks to be secured in graduation in order to apply for bank P.O. So carefully go through the notification before any application for P.O.

Dear friend,
My friend , the percentage criteria varied from bank to bank..

You have not mentioned that you are applying for which bank..

If you mentioned that then it will be easier for us to suggest you..

But, most of the banks mention 60% aggregate through out the career for general category and 55% aggregate for SC/ST category..

As you have mentioned that you have secured less than 55% aggregate in graduation then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for the BANK PO exam..

You can apply for other govt. sector jobs like-

1.UPSC conducted civil service exams
2.Defense exams..

etc..

So, go for these jobs..
All the best..
