Am I eligible to get a software job after completion of diploma in ECE with B.Tech? Can you please let me know what are the steps I need to follow for the same? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back soon as possible. Thanks!

Yes, you are eligible to get a software job after completion of your Diploma and B.Tech (ECE) course. Diploma holders generally get direct admission in second year of B.Tech course.

Most of the software companies recruit the candidates who have completed their B.Teeh course in CSE/ IT/ ECE stream from a recognised university. To get a Software job, you must have good knowledge on any one or two computer languages like C, JAVA, C++, .NET, etc.,.

The selection process of Software engineer includes Aptitude written test, Group Discussion, Technical Round followed by HR Round. You will be offered a job only if you qualify all the rounds of the recruitment process. So, I suggest you to learn computer languages in your B.Tech third year, so, that you can get job in your campus placements and get selected as a Software Engineer.
