Am i eligible for IAS after B.Sc(IT), ITI and SSLC?


hi iam janardhan after sslc i completed ITI (2yrs) and after i completed
BSC(IT) from Kuvempu open Univercity (3yrs) this qualification back ground
Eligble for IAS. iam in confuse. please reply me this email id [email protected] or
here .i didnt had PUC .

As you said you have completed B.sc that is nothing but graduation and Minimum education criteria = Graduate

So yes you are absolutely eligible foe IAS exam...

as this year exam dates are over so you need to apply next year ..

He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing

Based on the overall ranking and your choice of cadre, you will be provided IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IAS or IPS. The higher your rank, the choice is with you.

In case you have not not got a good rank and got into IFS, IAS or IPS, you may still become a Group A or B officer in the Central Govt.

Yes, you are eligible as UPSC requires graduation as minimum requirement, so you can apply next yr.
Also IAS is not a exam , but it is one of the cadre which will be alloted to you after your selection, for IAS, you should have rank in 150.

If you have completed your B.sc IT, then yes you are eligible for apply for IAS Examination. Because to apply for IAS examination, you need only graduate degree from a recognised university.

The IAS examination was conducted by UPSC, and the examination are also known as Civil Services examination, and in this examination, you have to appear for 2 test - Priliminery test and Main test.

And to apply for UPSC civil services examination, your age should between 21 to 30 years and you must have a graduate degree.

The upper age relaxation is only applicable for SC, ST and for OBC Candidates.

If you are a general candidate, then you will get only 4 attempts in this examination. And if you want to get more detail, then please visit the official website of UPSC -

So, please dont worry, you are eligible for UPSC Civil services examination.

If you have a graduate degree, then you are eligible for IAS examination.

Hello friend,
Kuvempu University is recognized by UGC and hence, a candidate holding a degree offered by Kuvempu University is eligible to take civil service examination, conducted by UPSC.
As you have done B.Sc (IT), you too, are eligible for the exam as the minimum educational qualification required for civil service exam is a bachelors degree in any stream.
The minimum eligible age is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years for general, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST.

Hello,
Once you have completed bachelor degree then, don't worry about your eligibility, you are eligiblie for upsc exam.
Eligibility-candidate must be graduate from an affiliated university with min. Aggregate 60%(geneal category), in any stream.
*for reserved category there is age relaxation according to exam norms.
Age limit-21-30yr.

Yes you are eligible to appear in civil services examination to become an IAS.

The examination is conducted by upsc.

The minimum eligibility criteria from education point is graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

As you had B.Sc IT at your graduation level. This is a graduation degree, hence you are eligible


The age of the candiate should be 21-30 years (relaxation is there for OBC and SC/ST candidates)

Dear,

Yes , you are eligible for the IAS examination because the minimum educational required

is to be a graduate.

Apart from that , the age limitation is between 21-30 years with 5 years relaxation for

the SC/ST categories and 3 years relaxation for the OBC category.

Moreover , in order to appear for the IAS examination , you need to clear the CSAT

exam conducted by the UPSC.

General categories have 4 while reserved categories have 7 attempts to clear the

exam.

IAS is one of the civil service exam and it is conducted by UPSC.Yes you are eligible for the exam when you finish your degree.For writing this exam the candidate must be eligible for it.

Eligibility:
  1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  2. The candidate must be 21-30 years old.
  3. The candidate must have a degree from a recognized university.

If you hae completed BSc (IT) degree then you are eligible for the
IAS exam. IAS exam is conducted by UPSC in every year for the
selection of talented candidate of India as the post of IAS officer.
IAS exam is conducted in two stage Preliminary exam and main exam.

Preliminary exam is also known as the CSAT exam.

Eligibility Criteria for IAS exam :

Educational Qualification :-

The minimum educational qualification for the IAS exam is graduation
in any stream from a recognize University. Final year graduation student are also eligible for this exam.

Age Limit :-

The age musut be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appear in
the IAS exam. SC,ST,OBC and PD candidate will get age relaxation
on the upper age according to goernment rule.

yes, off course you can apply for IAS exam.


IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service conducted by UPSC Every Year

ELIGIBILITY for IAS:
  • A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Discipline with atlest 55% from recognise universities.
  • Final year students are also applicable.

Age Limit:
  1. General category student:- 21-30 years.
  2. OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years.
  3. SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years.

No. Attempt:
  • General - max. 4
  • OBC - max. 7.
  • SC/ST - No limit.

After completion of Graduation in any stream, one will be eligible to apply for IAS.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS Officer, one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

As you are pursing B.Sc. I.T. after completion of which you will be eligible to apply for Civil Service Exam.

I am happy to inform you that after passing B.Tech 3rd year you are eligible for
Civil Services exam.

Civil Services exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year,

AGE LIMIT:-
Age should be in between 21-30 year.
For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-37 year.

This exam is conducted in three stage:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 20 Rs.

hai, i am vinoth . i finished sslc , then did ITI (turner , 2 Yrs) after i finished Diploma ( Computer , 3 Yrs ) then i did BCA(LE) in Tamilnadu open university .. Am i eligible for Group 1 and IAS exam or not ? Please help me.
