Am i eligible for IBPS clerical exam after doing PG in Biotechnology?


Please guide on preparation of online IBPS 2012 CLERICAL exam to be held in Dec 2012 ?

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personal Selection.


A graduation completed candidate can be eligible for IBPS PO(Probationary Officer) exam, this exam conducting under 19 Public Sector banks.


Participating banks:-

Allahabad bank,

Andhra bank,

Bank of India,

Bank of Maharashtra,

Bank of Baroda,

Canara bank,

Corporation bank,

Central bank of India,

Dena bank,

Indian bank,

Indian Overseas bank,

Punjab National Bank,

Punjab and Sind bank,

Syndicate bank,

Union bank of India,

United bank of India,

UCO bank,

Vijaya bank.



Eligibility criteria:-

Applicant should have to complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Percentage is not important to apply this exam.

Age criteria and relaxation details:-

The minimum age limit to apply this exam is 21 years,

The maximum age to apply this exam is 30 years.

Relaxation:-

3years for OBC category candidates,

5 years for SC/ST category candidates,

10 years for PWD candidates.

Selection process:-

Written exam,

Personal interview.

IBPS means Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conductCommon Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Clerical Cadre vacancies which was approved by 20 public sector banks.

Eligibility criteria:

Nationality: A citizen of India.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 20 years and maximum 28 years.
The Upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved categories.

Educational Qualification:
1.Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized University.
2.Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory.

so,you are eligible for IBPS clerical exam.

Yes you can eligible to write IBPS clerical exam after completing your PG Biotechnology required qualification for this exam is 12th standard from a recognized university

IBPS- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conduct the bank clerk exam every year for 19 public sector of bank.

If you have completed Graduation degree or completed Diploma degree , then you are applicable for IBPS Clerk Exam.

They are not require any kind of percentage marks in Graduation or Diploma degree .

Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.Age relaxation is provide for reserved category.

3 years for OBC.
5 years for SC.
10 years for PWD.

Selection process for IBPS Exam is 1)Written Test 2) Personal Interview.

BANK JOBS are conducted by IBPS

Clerical,Po exams are conducted by IBPS.

IBPS CLEARK ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

Academic qualification :

For CLERK you must complete 12th standard exam.

AGE LIMIT ::

For CLERK your age must be within 18 to 28 years

Backlog criteria :

And do not allow active backlogs.

You will have to clear your backlogs before appearing in the exam.

Other qualification ;

You must know the particular state language

And you must have basic knowledge of Computer.

AGE LIMIT ::

And the age limit is 21-30 years.

3 years of age relaxation for OBC students

5 years of age relaxation for Sc/St studnets

IBPS Clerk Exam Details:-

Exam Pattern:-

  • The whole paper needs to be completed in two hours' time which is the total duration of the exam. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • Stress on the following areas: Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
