IBPS - INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONAL SELECTION, an organization which conducts Banking Exam for the post of Clerk and P.O. for 19 Public Sector banks two times a year.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR BANK CLERICAL EXAM:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
-He should have either completed 10th with at least 60% marks or have competed 12th with at least 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.
-The candidate should be within the age of 18 to 28 years of age with upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.
-The candidate should be good knowledge over computer.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR BANK P.O. EXAM:-

-The candidate must be an Indian National
-Should have completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.
-The candidate should be within the age of 20 to 30 years of age with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
-The candidate should be a computer literate one.

The selection for both the exams are through written exam followed by personal interview.

For IBPS clerk examination the The candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in 10+2 however the Schedule caste, schedule tribe, PWD and XS candidates require 55% marks only

THe age of the candidate must be at least 18 years and maximum of 28 years



For IBPS PO/Mg

Education qualification - The candidate must have passed degree from a recognized university or equivelent.

Age Limit- For General candidates the lower age limit is 20 years and upper age limit is 30 years

the relaxation in the upper age limit will be as follow-
5 years for SC/ST candidate
3 years for OBC candidates
10 years for PWD candidates

eligibility criteria for ibps po is:
1. graduation in any stream with at least 50% of marks.
2. age must be under 20 to 34 years.
eligibility criteria for ibps clerk is:
1. passed 10 th 60% of marks.
2. or passed 12th with 50% of marks.
3. or passed in graduation.
4. age must be under 18 to 28 years.
eligibility criteria for ibps gramin bank clerk and po:
1. minimum 50% in graduation from a recognized university.
2. age must be under 21 to 34 years.

SBI has not join in IBPS. SBI conduct the exam sepretly.

Eligibility for IBPS--

To apply for IBPS Clerk exam you should be 12th pass with 55% and 10th with 60% marks from recognised board.

Your age should be 18 to 28 years for Clerk post. Relaxation for reserve
category.

To appear for IBPS po exam, you should have graduate in any stream from recognised university.Final year student of graduation also can apply.

12 pass out students with 50% marks or graduate students in any discipline can sit for this exam.

The age limit is 20-30 yrs

Written examination pattern is:-

Reasoning-50 marks
English-50 marks
Computer knowledge-50 marks
General awareness-50 marks
Quantitative aptitude-50 marks
Descriptive Paper on English Composition
(Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc)- 25 marks

All total-250 marks

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Written Examination (CWE) as a qualifying exam for jobs in 19 public sector banks in India. The PO exam is conducted for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts. However, beside the exam score, the candidates need to meet certain eligibility criteria.
Nationality: Indian

Age: Minimum 20 Years; Maximum 30 Years

The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates.

Relaxation of Upper Age limit

- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons With Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including\Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 5 years the stipulated time) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment: 5 years
- Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: 5 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
- Persons who have completed 5 years of service in RRBs: 5 years.

HI FRIEND
## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for IBPS CLERK & PO examinations is graduation/degree in any discipline from recognised institution/university & there is no marks percentage critiria
## Age limit to apply for IBPS CLERK examination is 18-28 years & for IBPS PO examination is 21-30 years & the age relaxations are
~>3 years for OBC candidates
~>5 years for SC/ST candidates
~>10 years for PH candidates
## The selection process of IBPS CLERK & PO exams is
~>Written test
~>Personal interview
## IBPS Written test comprising of 5 sections
(1)Quantitative ability
(2)Reasoning ability
(3)English language
(4)General awareness with special reference to banking industry
(5)Computer knowledge
& there is negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer
