Dear Friend,
The Acronym "IES" stands for Indian Engineering Services Examination. This is one of the examinations conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission. All the B.Tech pass out candidates are eligible to appear for this exam if they fulfill the below mentioned : * The candidate must have completed B.Tech in any stream from any recognized college/university. * Candidates in final year of B.Tech are also eligible for this exam. * The candidate do not have any pending backlogs. * The age limit : a) For General Candidates : 21-30 yrs b) For OBC Candidates : 21-33 yrs c) For SC/ST Candidates : 21-35 yrs So , as you have mentioned that you have completed B.Tech with 62% marks but yet have an active backlog. This sets you ineligible for the IES Exam. So , i just want to advise you to clear your pending backlog then apply for the exam. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
