Sir, i am mechanical engg student student. naw in final yr i want to join ies , so what qualification required, i have 58% marks in hsc ,
can i eligible for ies .Tell me minimum marks in BE requird.

You are in final year of Mechanical engineering so you are eligible for IES exam.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination. This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year.

If you have completed B-Tech/BE degree from recognized university then you are eligible for IES exam .

OR

If you have completed M.Sc degree in Physics , Radio Physics then you are eligible for IES exam.

Subject of Written exam :-

Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

IES exam doesn't require any limit in percentage marks of the candidate's.

The applicant age should be in between 21 yrs to 30 years.

Age relaxation for IES exam-

SC/ST = 5 years .
OBC =3 years .
PWD =10 years .
Ex-Servicemen = 5 years .
