I have passed my 12th examination in the science stream with 56% in physics and mathematics. I am 17 years old so am I eligible to join the Indian Navy?
urgent help required!!! please reply as soon as possible.

of course, you are eligible for indian navy .but still pay heed to the eligibility criteria for joining the naval academy of india:-

eligibility criteria:-

• candidate must be a citzen of india.

• he/she must have secured 55% aggregate marks in maths & science at
matriculation or equivalent level with age limit of 16 - 25 years.

(or)

10+2 or equivalent exam passed with 50% aggregate marks in pcm and at
least 50% aggregate marks in maths & physics. There are written test &
physical fitness tests before entry.

• the candidate should have b.e./b.tech in any of the following
disciplines or equivalent with atleast 55% marks:-

(a) for engineering branch: Mechanical/ production/ aeronautical/ marine/ control.

(b) electrical branch: Electrical/ electronics/ telecommunications/ avionics/ instrumentation & control.


• 10+2 or equivalent exam passed with 50% aggregate marks in pcm and at least 50% aggregate marks in maths &physics. There are written test & physical fitness tests before entry.

Dear, sir i had pass 10 2 exam with scoring 61% in the year 2011 but my marks in math is very low and i score 50 mark in chemistry. Is there any means to join the indian nevy with this scoring marks?

Yes of course , you are eligible to apply for Indian Navy through NDA examination.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II.This year NDA I exam last date for receipt application was already over and the examination will be held on 15.04.12

Important dates(N.D.A I):-

• Date of Notification :- 31.12.11
• Last date for receipt of application :- 30.01.12
• Date of examination :- 15.04.12

Important dates(N.D.A II):-

• Date of Notification :- 05.05.12
• Last date for receipt of application :- 04.06.12
• Date of examination :- 19.08.12

NDA Qualification :-

• You have to qualified your intermediate(12th) examination of a recognized School or equivalent qualification.
• You have to studied Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in your examination.
• Your age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years.
• Final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply.
• There is no specific percentage required for 12th examination.

Indian Navy is a part of Defence Services.
You can join Indian Navy after passing the 12th with physics and Maths.

N.D.A is an Exam conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
If you want to join you have to qualify the N.D.A entrance exam.

N.D.A EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-
> Pass 12th with any stream like Science, Commerce and Arts from recognized University or board.
> Your age should be in between 16.5-19 year.
> You must be citizen of India.
> You should be medically fit(No major surgery in your body).
> NO relaxation for ST/SC candidate.

You have to qualify the N.D.A exam which include three step:-
> WRITTEN EXAM
> INTERVIEW
> MEDICAL EXAM

If you qualify all the test then you get selected in Defence services.

Yes you can join.

You have to clear the written entrance.
It is of tough nature.
Work hard on the following sections:
Aptitude
GK and general awareness
reasoning
english

Work hard as the competition is among a huge no. of students.
So, it is your idea and technique which can help you to win the chance.

Hey you are absolutely eligible for indian navy through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam.

NDA Exam is conducted by the UPSC 2 times in a year i.e NDA-I and NDA-II.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate must be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board of india.

Percentage is not required to apply this exam.

For indian navy and airforce you must be complete 12th standard with PCM subjects.

The candidate must be a indian origin.

The candidate should be physically fit.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible i.e girls not eligible for NDA exam.

The age limits are 16.5years to 19years.

There is no upper age relaxation for the reservation candidates.

Yes, you are eligible to join Indian Navy after scoring 56% in Physics and Maths in 12th science through applying, appearing and cracking NDA entrance exam. There is no requirement of any percentage of marks in 12th for application to NDA.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To be eligible to join Indian Navy of NDA, one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only. He should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.
