Sir, i am a final year b tech student...Is i am eligible for writing j to exam at 2013?.......when will be the xam going to be held and when will be the application form available.Also i want to know the syllabus for the same.

That will depend.Mostly JTO exams are held in july And in the notification they would put up ' eligibility as on-' tag giving the date. Usually final year students are permitted to write exam under the condition that once selected you should be able to produce your certificates on such and such date


So prepare for the exam.The syllabus is same as that of GATE with added weightage on General aptitude and awareness.

Yes, you are eligible to write JTO exam while in final year of B.Tech.

JTO stands for Junior Telecom Officers.

The eligibility criteria required to apply for the JTO exam are as under :-

-The candidate should be a citizen of India .

-The candidate should have possess B.Tech. in any of the following fields

Telecommunication,

Electronics,

Computers,

Electrical,

Information Technology.

-The candidate who are in the final year of their degree can also apply for the exam .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be between 21 years to 30 years .

-The Exam pattern consists of a written test followed by Interview .
