Tattoo is not a contraindication for the IAS exam unless it has caused some physical disability.

Re: Any issues for Civil services medical exam for a tattooed bicep?
No definitely not,it is neither a medical problem nor any sort of weakness
... you must also keep in mind tatoos are removable through surgery.. you may like to avail this option to get over you confusion so just dont worry ... its nothing to worry about there are so many people with tatoos i US army... if it was a ground for rejection US would have no army .. cheer up diego |

So, there should not be any problem in qualifying the medical test. If the medical eligibility criteria doesn't contain any such clause no one can disqualify you provided that you fulfill all the other requirements very well. So, I would like to suggest you to not deviate your mind in these useless matters and prepare well for the examination Best Wishes... |

No, i dont think it is going to create a problem. Although till now there is no such case has appeared but if you have scored marks in your previous tests, they will not eliminate you just because you have 1 tatto unless it is a hatred one

Re: Any issues for Civil services medical exam for a tattooed bicep?
HI DEAR,
There is no such rule stated in UPSC medical criteria. ~MANOJ~ |
