Yes Even girls can have a good scope in the Merchant Navy.

Exams for the Merchant Navy:

Indian Maritime University (IMU) examination or UPSC exam


Post Available :

• Deck Cadets Post
• Navigating Officers Post

Minimum Qualification Needed :-

• Students passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Maths.
• Only Unmarried male and female Students are eligible.
• Not more than 20 years
• Students of SC/ST 25 years is maximum age.
• Eyesight should be 6/6 in each eye without any visual problem

.

While if you are going through UPSC age limit is 21-29 years


Note: Should be unmarried.The job will be totally for 6months on the ships.Since it is a naval job.
