Could anybody please suggest me the right track for pursuing graduation? As I have completed my +2 level of study on Arts/Humanities stream and very confused to choose either to go for BBA or BCA.

one is managment field and other one is computer field u choose that .......

as per my suggestion go for BBA it i smangement field and quite easy for u .. as compare to BCA ..

BBA is after 12th standard with Arts stream.

well to do BCA you should have mathematics if you dont have mathematics you can not do BCA as its deals with programming and for that you should have mathematics compulsory.

but you can do BBA from any college but after that its more better that you do MBA because it will give you good option .

You should do BCA because you have lots of option.

Did you have either mathematics or computer in your 12th??

If yes then you can choose BCA.

otherwise you have to choose BBA.

but since you are from arts background and if you are weak in maths, then I will suggest you to take BBA.

after BBA, prepare yourself for CAT to do MBA.

look, BBA ---> MBA
BCA ---> MCA

both are good....but for you I think its BBA.

BCA is a technical degree of 3 years and related with the computer along with the programming languages. After BCA you can go for MCA/MBA/MSC all doors are open for you it means after BCA you have more chances of master degree.

BBA is business degree if you are interested in business then you can decide about this degree after BBA you can do MBA/MCA.

Both the courses are professional (3 years)it depend on you that in which side you have interested then you can decide yourself.

There is a lot of scope after both the degree.MCA is 3years and MBA is 2years degree

I would suggest you to choose either BCA or BBA which you have more interest and where your strengths are being fully utilized.

Both these BBA and BCA are in contrast to each other.

BCA course deals with computer related subjects so technical. For this you should have grip in Mathematics and Computers.

Where as BBA does not require the knowledge of computers and Mathematics. It is management oriented.

My suggestion is to join BBA and then join MBA to have a very good career. MBA people are having plenty of opportunities in various fields. Choose BBA with your interest only.

for BCA you should have interest in your mathematics and computer applications so BCA is somewhat a technical stuff..
Coming to the other option BBA is mostly taken by many of the youth.. It is the increasing craze of towards MBA...

Many Arts student do BCA after completion of their 12th ..
But they have no Maths in their 12th class so they can't do MCA ..
so their is a problem after BCA so i will suggest you go for BBA course it is good course for graduation..

Its depend on your interest.So choose the one which you have more interest.

Both fields are very good for becholor degree and they both having good

scope.Both fields are very different from each other.

If you want to interest in business managmanet then bba is a good option for

you.BBA is a becholor degree of business adminstration.

And the other one is bca which is also very good.If you have interest in

computer then its very good for you to choose bca between both of them.Bca

is a computer adminstration degree and now a days there are so much scope

in computer field so its depend on your interest.


Choose the one which you have more interest.

But while persuing these courses ,dont loose your concentration from your main course i.e BBA

You are right when you say "
now a days many people have done bba and then mba and so there is shortage of jobs... they r sitting at home"

As number of colleges offering MBA degree have increased tremendously, anybody can get admission to MBA. But there is difference between class and mass. Brand name matters a lot when it comes to MBA education. If you do MBA from top colleges, you will get many good job offers, but if you do it from not so good college you will find it tough to find a job.

So if you are sure that you are interested in business studies, try hard to get into top 25 b-schools. You are in 12th now, start working for MBA in coming 2 years for CAT, CMAT, MAT etc. You will surely get good college.

Scope of BCA


Earlier, Bachelor of Computer Application is one of the demanding courses in India. There are many students who have made a dream of becoming a BCA graduate. But nowadays, the scope for BCA is slowly coming down. Today the bachelors’ courses in India are not given much importance. This is because many students are going for Masters degree courses and they are not stopping their studies till bachelors degree.

BCA is a Bachelor of Computer Applications. IT is booking in India. There are many national IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, Reliance, TCS, etc. which are looking for the qualified BCA students. Apart from this, there are many international companies like Vodafone, AT&T, etc. who are also stepping forward to take these BCA students. These companies are giving much importance to the Engineers with IT as their specialisation. This makes it little bit tough for a BCA to get a good job in a good company. There are many other non-IT companies who are in requirement of an IT person to take care of their software programs. A BCA is also having a scope in those companies.

Dont get confused.This decsicion would be yours based on your interest as both the courses BBA and BCA are good and completely different courses.
BCA deals with computer programming and applications.So if you have interest in computers,softwares you should opt for BCA. But make sure you must have mathematics as a subject at 12th std for taking admission in BCA as its one of the eligibility criteria of some of the top universities.
BBA deals with business studies.If you are interested in business line and its management then you should opt for BBA.further you can study MBA i.e. management course in any of the b-School.
So its all upto your interest as both fields are different and at the same time both have wide future scope.
