what is better MCA or MSC after BSC COMPUTER SCIENCE....
And do we have a facility in mumbai university that after doing Msc we directly get admission in MCA 3rd year???

it is better to choice MCA after bsc computer science.
because now a dyes MCA has a demand
M.Sc has also a good degree but job appetites are less
but remember one thing join MCA in good college background
and campus interviewees. write Icet and all India mca comman
enter test for joining to god mca colleges....................

its better to choose mca rather than msc , its related to your course.
but for doing mca you must opt better college which will provide u better job in easy way.for this you have to sit for all india mca common entrance test.

no there is no facility such like this , that after doing Msc you directly get admission in MCA 3rd year.

usually MCA is comparatively better than M.Sc. the former has a lot a vacancies in the IT sector which can be preferred after the Engineering degree and there is no lateral entry in Mumbai university for the Lateral entry of 3rd year of MCA as of now. But still some open universities are offering the 2nd year lateral entry scheme for MCA. Choose the Best option for you.

msc will give you teaching jobs but mca is having a wide scope. Mca is providing good job opportunities in multinational companies. So it is better to go for that.

I prefer you to do msc in computer science after Bsc.

Those who are interested in teaching as profession or research field then better go for M.Sc. in CS and if you are interested in technical jobs in MNC then better go for MCA. MCA has lots of job opportunities than M.Sc. in CS.

But most of the IT companies prefer student from MCA, so it is better for you tyo take admission in MCA.
& you can also say that after recession MCA is more demanded than M.Sc(IT).

My comment is for those who told MCA is better than M.Sc. in computer science. All of you must not forgot that the Syllabus of both the courses. You see the Syllabus of different Universities of INDIA. Then you will see that is somthing different in the syllabi of the mentioned two courses. You are thinking that why MCA takes three years while M.Sc. takes two. It is because for the havy project for MCA course but in M.Sc. the project is minor. The project is the only difference of the two courses. Thanks

well MCA is better after completing BSc because this is professional course and there is very good scope after completing MCA in many software company and you will get good salary package as compare to MSc .

Both the two stream M.Sc (Computer Science) and MCA are good in their field.

1) If you want to go for mainly teaching line then M.Sc should be your first preference.

2) But if you want to go mainly for company job then choose MCA.

So, You have to choose between them according to your future planning.

How much salary i will get from company if i do mca

There is a scope of MCA today,so MCA is better than M.Sc to do .

Here is one catch.
msc=2 yrs mca=3 years
bsc comps science or it = msc comp sci or IT has more knowledge than mca for sure i can bet.
but msc in com psci or it is difficult frm mumbai univ but mca is relatively easy for bsc-it or comp sudent

is it true big IT cos seek MCA holder than MSc(IT) ??? and is it a straight way monopoly that MSc holder preferably good in teaching field?? in MCA there is repetiotion of subjects that we learn in Sc(IT or CS) whereas MSc offers some advance subjects, so my honest question is for having a good MNC job and an experince of IT corporate world which cource is preferable?? both are good indeed. but as a mater of fact in industry which one to go for?

Now a days both M.Sc and MCA has wide scope.

As you have done B.Sc in computer science,then it will good for you to go for MCA if you want to continue with your field.

M.Sc is a 2 years course and MCA is a 3 years course.

So now its all depend on your interest. Choose your post graduation branch according to your interest.
