i will say that both the field has there own important and they both are having good good future for any person who takes them.
by being an structural engineer you take the field in designing aspect and by taking construction management you take the execution part of the project,both of which are equally important

you can choice according to own interest, because both the courses are good, we suggest you if you are doing and interested in these courses then you can go for constuction management, because there are wide scope in india.

according to me structure is an evergreen subject and it will always be in damed,but right now in the market there is more demand for construction management because of the number of new projects coming and manager required for doing the projects

infrastructure management is an new and upcoming course and there is going to be an huge demand for professionals in this field in the near future ,were as structures is an very old and the main course in civil engineering field and there is always going to be demand for this course and in future both the course are going to have equal importance

there are some colleges which are offering correspondence course in construction management,
from the point of view that you will have an another degree to add in your resume its good,but from knowledge point of view its an complete waste of effort,
if you really want to do construction management then it will be better if you do from some reputed institute like iit or nit.
even NICMAR offers an good course in construction management and its very reputed,

i don't think that the graduation degree which you are talking about is actually considered as graduation by the government of India,

There is no such course named structure management. I think you are talking about structural engineering.

Structural engineering is a field of engineering dealing with the analysis and design of structures that support or resist loads.

Construction management:
To manage the growing infrastructure projects successfully, the country needs many efficient construction/project managers well-versed in multidisciplinary project management practices

But there are only few institutes in the country that offer courses in construction/project management. Construction/Project managers have limitless employment opportunities both in public and private sector infrastructure development companies.

structures management and construction management both are good. but you have to choose your subject according to your own interest after understanding the courses.

Structures management is the study of management which deals with the management of the company structure. like there may be CEO, GM, DGM etc post in one company and also so many other post and labor post, clerk post, peon post etc are available. now if you are from structures management then you have to deal how the structure of the company will be. that is who will be the superior and who will successor of whom.

construction management deals with the construction of any organization. like how the organization will deals, what will be the function of the organization, how the company will manage all the things etc.

i think construction management is more vast then the structures management although the both are good enough. choose the best suitable one for you according to your interest.

I think both fields are best in different point of views by the different people.but more peoples prefer constuction management because more colleges are offering correspondence study of constuction management and they more college are not offering correspondence study of structures management.
so this is the main reason for this difference.
