Re: Is biology a compulsory subject in IISER admission test?
IISER conducts its own aptitude oriented test. There will be questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. It is a must to attempt questions from all these areas. All questions will be objective in nature. There will be 15 questions in each of these sections.

Re: Is biology a compulsory subject in IISER admission test?
There are five IISER campuses in India.
IISER Bhopal IISER Kolkata IISER Mohali IISER Pune IISER Thiruvananthapuram The courses offered at IISERs are BS-MS dual degree program (10+2 passed students), M.Sc. + Ph.D. integrated program (For B.Sc. passed students) and Ph.D. program. (For M.Sc. passed students) It is mandatory to have an educational background in the field relevant to the specialization in which you want to get admission. If your qualification is 10+2 (Physics, Chem, Maths.) then you can apply for admission in BS-MS program in Physics, Chem, Maths. specialization. If your qualification is B.Sc. (Hons.) in Maths. then you can apply for admission in M.Sc.+Ph.D. program in Maths. http://www.iiser-admissions.in/ |
