Actually according to mentioned qualification in advertisement you can apply for IES,but you can not get your own paper (Computer science).You have to appear any one of four paper (i.e. Civil Engineering,Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering,Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering)

2. Age Limit : 21-30 Years.

Yes, B.tech Computer Science Candidates are eligible to apply for IES Examination.

And to apply for this examination you must have possessing a degree in Engineering in any discipline from a recognised university.

And If You are Pursuing your B.tech Course in Computer science Field and you are in your final year engineering degree course, then you are eligible for IES Examination. But In this examination you have to opt a specialization of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Because there is no Computer Science Subject are there in IES Examination and you have to opt the subjects from the given Specialization Only.

So, Dont Worry You are eligible for IES Examination Because you are Pursuing your Engineering Degree Course. So, When you are Doing your Final Year Degree course then you are eligible to apply for IES Examination, The syllabus and previous Year Papers are availiable in the UPSC Website.

Eligible candidates may apply for IES Examination either Online Or Offline.

If you have apply Online the you have to pay the Examination Fees Rs 50, But If you have apply Offline then you have to obtained the application form from the post Offices of Rs 100.

The Notification was Published in the employment Newspaper Or in the UPSC website in the month of January every year, For this year IES Examination was Already Completed, And if you are interested in IES Examination then please apply for this examination Next year and for more details please read the Given Notification Or visit the UPSC website -

Yes in my opinion you may apply for IES.

Eligibity for IES exam:

As per the examination eligibility criteria a computer science student can not apply for the IES exam which is conducted by UPSC every year.
But a computer science student can apply for the other branch subject as there is no any paper for the computer science branch.
So i think you can apply for the other paper rather than computer science.

NO, the b. tech. computer scuence student is not eligible for the IES EXAM.
so, you are not eligible for this exam.

but the a another way to give exam is that you have to choose another branch like electrical...

after it your exam is conducted in accordance
to the chooseable branch.

i think you can apply but to make it sure just search on google for eligibility ok

For IES exam graduate student can apply.you can also apply in Final year of your graduation.

IES Eligibility Criteria-
Educational Qualifications :

You are also eligible for IES exam because you are doing graduation and graduation student can apply for this exam.

Yes you can apply for IES examination but the only troubles which arises is that you have to deviate from you current field of study.
As your current field of study is not available to go for IES.
So,if you want to go for IES ,you will be required to change your stream in future run.

Hence,decide accordingly and go ahead.

Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test, which is also known as CA CPT Exam, is conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for admitting students to Chartered Accountancy course. The test is an entry level exam. The institute conducts Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) four times a year, at various cities across India.

Eligibility:
The aspirants can join the Chartered Accountancy course after clearing CA CPT Exam. Given below are the eligibility criteria for chartered accountancy.

The students must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board.
Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply.
The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply.

As per the previous year date of exam, it will held in the middle of September..
But this year notification for September month is not announced yet..
so, you have to wait.. it will be announced soon..

As per UPSC standards, any individual who holds a degree in engineering is eligible to write Engineering Service Exam.

But the examination is conducted in only four disciplines of engineering which do not include computer science, therefore you will have to write papers of any of the following engineering groups:
Civil
Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics and telecommunication

The minimum eligible age is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

No my friend,Its very bad news for you that you are not eligible for IES.The

IES paper is only for core branches.There is no place for computer engineer.

Only mentioned branches are eligible for IES.

Mechenical engineer


Electrical engineer

Civil engineer

Electronics and communication

No computer Engineering students are not eligible for Indian Engineering service exam.Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by upsc every year once.This exam is conducted to intake qualified engineers for Government sector in different departments.

To appear for this exam
