i am in final of BE(computer). Can i apply for jto bsnl exam?

Yes ofcourse you can apply for JTO exam. you are in 7th sem of your BE and JTO form would be available from February 2011 at that time you will in your last sem and you will be appearing for the final exam. I mean to say that you would be eligible by that time. so do not worry you can give JTO exam that is going to be held in 2011.

Students who have appeared in the final year exam or having degree are eligible for the BSNL JTO exam. So if you get the degree at the time of interview then you are eligible to appear for the BSNL JTO exam.

The eligibility criteria for the BSNL JTO exam is mentioned below:

Education Qualification:
Candidates having degree in any of the following subjects are eligible to appear in the BSNL JTO exam:

i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

Since you are a computer engineering student so according to this you are eligible to appear for the BSNL JTO exam.

AGE LIMIT:
The candidates applying for the BSNL JTO exam has the age between 21 years to 30 years.

There is a relaxation in age for the following candidates:

1. For the SC/ST candidates or the candidates who are govt. employee or the employee of BSNL will get the relaxation in age of 5 years.

2.Candidates who belongs to OBC category the relaxation in age is of 3 years.

3. For the PH category candidates there is a relaxation of 10 years.

4. If the SC/ST category student is PH then they get a relaxation of 15 years in age.
and for OBC they will get a relaxation of 13 years in age.

So if you want to apply for the BSNL JTO exam you should must have the above eligibility.

sylabus for comp science in jto??????

HI NOW I AM IN Final year ECE(7 th semester) and i amhaving CGPA upto 6th semester (9.11). I have interest in telecommunication. so that i would like to joined in bsnl(JTO).

can i apply for this exam now. then what is the procedure?????
