Can a B.Tech IT student apply for PSU exam?


I am a B.Tech (information technology) holder, can i apply to psu exams??????????

All PSUs don't conduct regular recruitment for IT engineering graduates.

Therefore you can apply for few government services only but these are good enough

to offer you a satisfactory job.

1. BSNL- It conducts JTO recruitment exam every year.

2. DRDO- It conducts Scientist Entry Test 'SET' every year.

3. Indian Engineering Services- For this services UPSC conducts IES examination every

year for various technical administrative posts which is one of the most prestigious

exam of the country.

Mostly PSU doesn't recruit IT candidates,so as you are from IT background,you can take part in other sector,but some what related to your background.

Some of the PSU exam undertaking Companies:

  • NTPC
  • DRDO
  • BSNL
  • IES

sorry dear ,
i dont think you will get a chance to go for public sectors. because these sector only allows electrical, mechanical streams etc...


you can try for other exam like BSNL exam, DRDO exam... etc whete IT students are
eligible to appear.....
