BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and no there is no lateral entry option after BAMS to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and it is five year duration course.
So, if you want to pursue course the minimum duration of course will be five year after 10+2 or even after higher courses. The eligibility to appear for entrance examination is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB as main paper. No. You can't complete MBBS course in 2 years eventhough you are BAMS holder. You must have passed (10+2) with PCB as a main subjects. You also require to qualify the entrance exam AIPMT or state level medical entrance exam.
MBBS Eligibility - You must have passed senior secondary with physics , chemistry and biology as a main subjects. - Your age should be between 17 to 25 years on 31st December of the examination year. AIPMT Exam Pattern - Numbers of Questions : 180 - Questions will be asked from Physics , Chemistry and Biology subjects. - Total Marks : 720 - Time Duration : 3 Hours |
