Hello Friend!

YES of course, you can become a pilot in Indian Air Force after passing 12th standard in Science stream.

You can become a pilot in Indian Air Force by giving NDA entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in years as NDA-I & NDA-II.


Basic requirement for NDA Exam:
----------------------------------

You should have completed 12th standard in Science(with PCM subjects) stream from recognized university board.

Candidate appearing/appeared in 12th standard are also eligible to appear in NDA examination.

You Age should not be below 16.5 years & should not be above 19 years.

You should be Indian Citizen. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to appear in NDA Examination.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process for NDA contain 3-stages->

1. Written Exam
2. Interview
3. Medical test.



Exam Pattern& syllabus for NDA written test:

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

There are different phases of exam under the supervision of director General Civil Aviation (DGCA) & Ministry of Communication , Gov. of India.
=> Apply for a studentship to Gov. Aviation & traing Institude, Biju pattnaik International Airport , BBSR for theoretical class.
=> Wherafter succeseful completion of theoretical class they will be issuing a stdunt pilot licence (SPL) at the same time & have to qualify FRTO examination i.e Flying Radio Telephonic Operation under ministry of communication .
=> Then the next phase of exam is for private pilot licence (PPL) having 60 hurs of flying practice & commercial pilot license (CPL) having a total of 200 flying hrs .
=> For this there will be a total investment of approximately RS 20 Lakhs of expenditure at present & you have to acquire sound knowledge on planning , flying , meteorology & techinical expertise.
If you want to join airforce then you have to give the entrance exam conduct by UPSC .(NDA)
