Being from commerce background you can teach only in 11th or 12th standard or the college level. So it is advisable to complete your Masters course first. After that take the NET exam. You can take up B.Ed too but clearing the NET exam is a must. If you wish to teach at the 11th or 12th standard you can appear for the SET exam too.

Yes definitely you can become school teacher. If you have completed graduation then apply for the Bachelor of Education course.

Bachelor of Education is one year long course for those who wants to become teacher. Unless you complete this course there is very little scope of getting job in private schools or the government schools.

In the bachelor of education course you will be trained to teach different subjects to the school students. The subjects depend on the stream of the candidate. For example Arts stream candidates are trained for History, Geography, languages. Maths is the subject for commerce stream candidates.


B.Ed Eligibility

1. You should first complete the mandatory graduation course.

2. 50 percent marks in graduation are required.

3. 5 percent relaxation for OBC candidates.

4. Only 40 percent marks are required for SC/ST.

5. Educational pattern should be 10+2+3.


After completing the Bachelor of Education course, you can apply for job in private schools or appear for the government teacher's exam. If you are interested in government teacher's job then it is mandatory to clear the Teachers Eligibility Test.

There are two types of Teachers Eligibility Test. First is the Central Teachers Eligibility Test which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for central government schools while second is state Teachers Eligibility Test, conducted by each state separately for its schools.


Eligibility Criteria for CTET

1. The candidate should be Indian national.

2. Must at least have completed graduation.

3. 50 percent marks in graduation course.

4. Bachelor of Education degree is also required.

5. There is no upper age limit.

the easiest way is do bca of 3 years then mca of 3 years and now you are able to become a computer teacher.otherwise do ba then bed you can enter in teacher line thanku.

Commerce students can become teachers after completing their Graduation in B.com or Post Grad in M.Com and start teaching to the students studying

1. Intermediate (State Board and in Commerce stream)
2. 11th and 12th otherwise
3. schools that provide Option of Commerce in 10th Standard itself.

However following points are to be noted

1. Generally to teach in a college to students pursuing Bachelor's Degree One needs to be at least a Post Graduate.
2. If you are planning to teach in a school then Preference will be for person who have completed B.Ed.
3. However a Subtle way to find a way in teaching students is to Check for Junior Lecturer post in Colleges or Associate with coaching centre which are engaged in teaching students for professional courses like CA,CMA and CS
