No, Diploma candidates are not eligible for NDA Examination , Only the candidate who complete 12th board Examination are eligible to apply for NDA Examination .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA Examination :-

Educational Background :-

You should Complete 12th Board Examination in any discipline from recognized university .

For Army Academy :- Any stream candidates are eligible to apply for Army academy .

For Naval and Airforce Academy :- Only Science stream with Physics and Mathematics in 12th Board Examination are eligible for Airforce and Naval Academy .

Final year candidates / The candidate who are waiting for the result for 12th board Examination may also eligible to apply for the Examination .

Age Limit :-

Your age should be 16 1/2 Years to 19 years and You should Born in between ( 02 / 07 / 1993 and 01 / 01 /1996 ) . There is no relaxation applicable for any category candidates . and You should be Unmarried male candidate .

Physical Standards :-

You should be Physically as well as Medically fit . Your height you should 157.5 cm and Airforce for 162.5 cm . Your chest you should be 76cm .

As per the eligibility Criteria , your not eligible for NDA Examination . If your really Interested in NDA Examination then I suggest you to Complete 12th Standard , Then only you eligible for NDA Examination .

There is no entry scheme in NDA for diploma students. There are many engineering colleges or universities which are takes admission through lateral entry. If interested you can enter there institutes by clearing respective examination. You have not mentioned if you have passed 10+2 or not. In case even if you have passed 10+2, after completing diploma course you age will be more than 18 years for sure. For this reason probably you are not eligible. But below eligibility criteria is being mentioned so that you can check yourself and determine you are eligible or not.

• For army wing minimum qualification required is pass in 10+2 pattern from a recognised board.
• For naval or air wing one must have studied Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.
• Age should be 16 to 18 years. Exact range of date will be put on the notification of NDA.
• Those who are appearing 10+2 examination can also write NDA examination but need to produce proof of pass within a specified time.
• Only unmarried male can apply.

NDA examination contains two papers of Mathematics and General ability. One can preference for NDA and Naval academy and which branch they want to join. But it will depend on the rank of the candidate what he finally gets.
