Re: Can I appear for CAT Exam after scoring 56% in B.Com?
Yes you can appear in the CAT exam.
Because the only criteria to appear for CAT is a graduation degree in any field or discipline.....graduation marks or percentage does not matter. It is a highly demanding course and growing too fast. To apply for MBA you can sit for the following entrance exams in India: CAT(Common Admission Test) is the most toughest entrance exam in India by IIMs for MBA. You have to score 99% in CAT to get admission in IIMs. So you have to work very hard to crack CAT. besides CAT you can also give other exams which are less tougher as compared to CAT. they are: MAT(Management Aptitude Test by AIMA) XAT(MBA Entrance Test by XLRI Jamshedpur) JMET(Joint Management Entrance Test by IITs) SNAP[Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)] ATMA(AIMS Test for Management Admission) MAH-CET(Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test) FMS Delhi University Entrance Test Faculty of Management Studies IGNOU OPENMAT - Indira Gandhi National Open University Management Admission Test IBSAT - ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test. |

CAT exam which can be abbreivated as Common Aptitude Test is the main entrance exam to be cleared by students who aspire to join MBA in top level business schools.
To be eligible for doing MBA you must have finished your degree and must have obtained at least 50% at the end semester of final year as an aggregate. For SC\ST candidates 45% is enough instead of 50%. Candidates of final year can also appear for this exam. |
