NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.

If you have completed Masters degree from recognized university then you are eligible for NET exam .Required marks criteria for NET exam is 55% in masters degree.5% marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidate .Final year of Masters degree candidate can apply here .

Yes , You can apply for UGC NET Exam.

Age criteria for NET Exam:-

i) Junior Research Fellowship : Not more than 28 years . Age relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .

ii) Lectureship : There is no upper age limit .

Pattern for UGC NET Exam :-

Section 1 - 100 marks(60 questions are there)
Section 2 - 100 marks(50 questions are there)
Section 3 - 150 marks(75 questions are there)

Application Fee : -

1. General candidates willing to apply for UGC NET June 2013 need to pay Rs. 450/-.
2. OBC Candidates would be required to pay Rs. 225/-
3. SC/ST/PWD Candidates would be required to pay Rs. 110/-.
