You can do Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering after completing 10th standard. You can also do BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering just after passing 12th standard that is good enough for you. Aeronautical Engineering is one of the branch of Engineering course having good future scope.


Basic Eligibility criteria for Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering:

• You should have Passed in SSLC /10th or equivalent from recognized board.
  
• Your Age should not be more then 19 yrs.
  
• You must have minimum of 50% in 12th Standard.

Eligibility criteria for BE/B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering :

Yes, you can apply Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering after 10th.

The candidate should have completed 10th with Science stream from a recognised Central/State Board within the age of 19 years to apply for Diploma in Aeronautical Engg. One who has completed 12th with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks is also eligible for this Diploma.

The candidate who has completed 12th with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Central/State Board within the age of 20 years, is eligible to apply for under graduate course in Aeronautical Engineering.

You can then join degree engineering course in Aeronautical engineering. After completing diploma you will be able to join directly in second year of degree course.

I strongly recommend you to complete your 12th and then join engineering course, as it will help you in engineering as many fundamentals of yours will be cleared in 11 and 12th itself.

Choice is yours.If you don't want to do 12th then, you can always join diploma course and then do degree engineering.

Aerospace engineer who work with aircrafts are called aeronautic engineers and those working specifically

with spacecraft are called aerospace engineers.


To qualify as an Aeronautical Engineer you need a BE/BTech degree in Aeronautical Engineering.

ELIGIBLITYFOR AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING:- 12th Class (10+2)/Intermediate With Aggregate of 50% marks in Physics/Maths/Chemistry(PCM)Separately. Or Student must complete his diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
Duration:- 4 years Full Time.

Thus its not possible for you to do this course now. Give your class 12 exam properly. Then apply for this course. All the best
