I am 20 and pursuing graduation (B.A. hons English) from DU. Can i apply for bank clerk job or any other bank job? i got 75% in 12th cbse.

since you didnt mention any name i am giving you a general criteria for it..(it may vary)

as minimum eligiblity criteria is One must completed his graduation with atleast of 55% aggreagate and 12th class with a percentage of 60% for probationary..

and for clerical one need to clear 12th class with a minimum percentage of 60%..(or in highest degree)


Age limit for clerical :

18 to 28 years

Age limit for Probationary Officer :

Not below 21 years and not above 30 years


but their is relaxation like

3 years in the case of OBC candidates
5 years in the case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen


so i think you are eligible for at-least SBI bank PO... AS above is the eligibility criteria for SBI BANK...

It looks pretty cool that you have secured a good percentage in 12th. So don't be worry. You can apply various banking jobs through online registration.

Eligibility & Age:

1. 21-30 Yr age, 55% aggreagate and 12th class with a percentage of 60% for P.O. exams.
2. 18-28 Yr age, 12th class with a minimum percentage of 60% for clerical exams.

General Eligibility for the Bank Clerk post:

1:you should pass minimum 12th standard (10+2) or equivalent securing 60% marks where as 55% marks for the SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen.

you should pass diploma course after 10th standard with a minimum of 60% marks,

dear friend
you can apply for bank clerk job .but i suggest you to apply for bank po exam after complete your graduation .it is better for your future. The reason behind it that clerk exam for 12 th standard and you score good marks in 12 now bank po will better for you.

there are 5 & 3 years of relaxation are given to SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively.

hello sir, I have one question.i had 68% in 12th and 44%in B.com in (corresponding course) as well as 65% in M.com in Regular course. Am I eligible for the sbi clerk and or PO exam, or any other gov't or pvt banking exams.please tell me.Only U.G. I had the lower percentage with correspondence.Answer me sir. Thank u.

The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates. Relaxation of Upper age limit is :
1 Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe 5 years
2 Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years
3 Persons With Disabilities 10 years
4 Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers 5 years
5 Persons who lived in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 5 years
6 Persons affected by 1984 riots 5 years
7 Persons who have completed 5 years of service in RRBs 5 years

Qualification:
You should have a valid degree(12th) and your aggregate must be 60%.

After passing graduation you can apply for bank clerk as well as bank P.O Job..

Eligibility for Bank P.O job:-
> Pass graduation with 60% above marks with any stream..
> Age limit is 21-30 Year..

Eligibility for Bank clerk job:-
> Pass 12th with any stream with minimum 60% marks
> Age limit is 18-28 year..

my gradution completed in BA AND MY 12th class passed and computer in MS-CIT and tally9.0 passed. english speaking very nice.

i have deposited challan for depositing application for recruitment in clerical cadre 2012-13 , but they told apply online ,so i want the procedure for online

SC castes relaxsation is 36 year ? Or what? Passing mark 39% is it illigibal or not
