dear friend,
Yes, my friend you can appear in IAS exam, but first you have to fulfill some eligibility criteria...

The eligibility criteria for appearing in IAS exam-

*One must have complete the graduation or post graduation in any trade..
*One should not have any due backlogs.
*The candidates age should be in between 21-30years...
For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5years. and For OBC the age relaxation is 3years...

As you have completed the MCA course then you satisfy the educational qualification , now if your age is below 30years then you can surely appear in IAS exam..

So, go for it...
All the best..

Very good to hear from you that you are interested in UPSC exam i.e., IAS entrance exam. yes you are eligible to appear for this exam.

the very basic eligibility criteria to appear in IAS entrance exam i.e., officially called as Civil service examination are as follows
->you should have 21 years of minimum age and should not cross more than 30 years of age.
->you should have attained a degree certificate in your hand from any recognized Indian University. No bar which ever stream you are from.

Note :- Regarding your age you should not cross 30 years if you are a general applicant

if you are a OBC applicant then you are allowed till 33 years

if you are a Sc/ST applicant then you are allowed till 35 years.

Coming to no. of attempts you as a general aspirant can attempt 4 times upto your max age limit i.e., 30 years
if you are a OBC aspirant then you are allowed upto 7 years upto your max age limit i.e.,33 years.

if you are a sc/st applicant you are allowed unlimitedly till you reach your max age limit i.e., 35 years of age.

these are the details I want to share with you and which you would like to know if you are a civil's aspirant.

hope these will help you in making a step forward.

Regards

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in IAS exam is that the person must have a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university.
Also he/she must be a citizen of India.
The age limit for general candidates is 21 to 30 years.
The age limit for OBC candidates is 21 to 33 years.
The age limit for SC/ST candidates is 21 to 35 years.
General category candidates can give maximum 4 attempts.
OBC candidates can give maximum 7 attempts.
SC/ST candidates can give any number of attempts within age limit.
These criteria are for both male and female candidates.

Since, you have done MCA, you must have a bachelor's degree. If you fullfil all other above mentioned criteria, then you are eligible for IAS.
