I Would like to take IAS/KAS Exam. Now am studying Diploma in computer science.
Am i eligible to take these exams on Diploma basis.
Please update me some alternate ways to take these exams.

no, you can not apply for these exams only after completing diploma. for becoming eligible for filling these forms, you must have done graduation first. you can do b.tech, BE or bsc to become eligible for the exam

INDIAN ADMINISTRATION SERVICES or KAS or IPS or any public services requires a minimum qualification of batchlores (degree).

so you complete your degree in any stream.(atleast from distance if you are a working man/woman)

Greeting for the day;

No,You are not Eligible for IAS/KAS on basis of Diploma.At least you have to need the Graduation Dergree in any Field..This is India's one of the Top level Examination so there is no Alternate way you must have a graduation degree.

For appearing for the IAS exam it is a must that the candidate should be at least a graduate. It is a must that this criteria be met. Since you are currently pursuing Diploma course regret to say you are not eligible for this entrance exam. You will need to complete your graduation first. You can however prepare for the exam especially in general studies area.

no you can not apply for ias exam on the basis of your diploma,
to write the exam you should be an graduate,
you can do engineering after completion of diploma and once you complete it,you can write ias exam,
also you should be above 21 years of age to write the exam

A candidate with graduation degree can apply for IAS exam and I guess you are not eligible for IAS exam.

no..... you must be a degree holder to be eligible to take up IAS/KAS.

write now am 8th sem b.e can i do ias... when is the ias exam... waht all to study... i don ve any idea....

sorry friend but for premier exams like IAS/KAS you have to be a bachelor from a recognized university... so you have to go for bachelor degree ...
please don't lose heart you can get lateral entry in engineering streams... Then you can appear for these exams after B.Tech ... even in final year you can appear subject to provisional recruitment

No dear You can not apply IAS/KAS exams as you donot fulfill the eligibility which is Graduation from a recognized university.

The criteria for appearing in IAS exam

*you must have complete your graduation.

*your age should be in between 21-30 years..

As you are doing diploma, which is equivalent to 12th, so after completion of your diploma you will not be eligible for IAS exam, for that you have to first complete your graduation..

1.Sorry umesh you are not eligible for IAS. if u need to join IAS you want to finish your recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

After Diploma in Computer Science you are not eligible to apply for IAS/KAS as the minimum academic qualification for IAS/KAS is Graduation in any stream.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate aspiring for IAS must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

So as you are interested you should have completed Graduation Degree such B.Tech after completion of Diploma in Computer science in order to be eligible for Civil Service Exam.
