Since you are in the final year of your b.tech program, you are eligible to apply for Engineering Service Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Apart from being an engineer, you must be within the age limit of 21-30 years. The most important thing i must mention is that the examination is conducted in only four disciplines of engineering but as far as eligibility is concerned, an engineer, in any discipline is eligible to appear for the exam. |

ya IES (Indian engineering services) is the best thing to opt after btech....but its is not for all branches..it is mostly for EEE,ECE,MEC,CIVIL....some branches are not included...its a tough examination....
note: some companies will pay high for the students if the score of this examination is high...core subjects of respective branches should be in finger tips to getthrough the examination successfully...all the best |
