Diploma candidate's are not eligible for IPS Exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police service.

Candidate's who have completed graduation degree with minimum percentage marksin any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS Exam. Final year candidate can eligible for IPS Exam.

Age criteria for IPS exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per govt rule .

Age relaxation for IPS exam:-

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

The maximum no of attempts for SC/ST candidate is unlimited. For OBC candidate's it is 7 years and for general candidate's it will be 5 years.

Selection process of this exam are - Preliminary exam,Mains exam and Personal Interview

You are now in 10th standard so you have enough time for preparation. Now you should be focused on your 12th standard board first and try to prepare for IPS exam in parallel.
