i want to do job in airforce i am doing my b-tech final year in information technology. should i wait till my btech complination .or can i apply now

General requirement is more than 55% in graduation and 12th while appearing for the exam

There are Two modes of Entry One is CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Examination.

I) CDSE i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university for Indian Army. Conducted by upsc twice every year.

If You want to join Indian Air force then they need to have Physics Or maths as a subject in their Graduation.

AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test In Brief !!

Eligibility

Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer

You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.

Indian Air Force

1. The Combined Defence Services Examination (written test conducted by
UPSC) to join the Flying branch of the Indian Air Force.

Eligibility for applying Flying branch:-Only indian unmarried male candidate
are eligible.
Age:- 19 to 23 years

Educational Qualifications:- Graduation any discipline from a recognised
university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) / BE / B Tech( Four Year Course) .Final Year students can also apply.

2. Air Wing Senior division 'C' Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps,
you can apply to the Flying branch of the Indian Air Force.

Eligibility criteria:-Only indian unmarried male candidate are eligibile.

Age:- 19 to 23 years

Educational Qualifications:- Graduate in any discipline from a recognised
university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers. and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers. Final Year students can also apply.

3. Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & women) with Term of
Engagement of 14 Years with no further extension

Eligibility criteria:- Both indian unmarried male and female candidates are
eligible to apply for short service commission in the flying branch.

Age:- 19 to 23 years

Educational Qualifications:- Graduate in any discipline from a recognised
university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers. And have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers. Final Year students can also apply.

Hello, I would rather suggest, don't wait for B.TECH to end, apply in the final year. You can go for Army, airforce , navy. the mode of entry are as follows-

1.CDS written followed by SSB(for army, airforce,navy)
2.UES direct selection for SSB(army)
3.TGC- no written, direct apply and go for SSB(army)
4.AFCAT(air force)- written exam, followed by SSB(air force)

Can i apply for job in Air Force in the final year of B.Tech ?

Yes, definitely you can apply for the Air Force in the final year of B.Tech course.You can apply for AFCAT examination after successful selection in the written examination you will be call for the personal interview.

AFCAT has many branch like flying, Technical, Ground-Duty branch. You are eligible for the ground duty branch. Details information is available in the official website of AFCAT.

Note : Candidates appearing in the fina year/semester examination may also apply for AFCAT examination.
