Dear Aspirant!

At an Age of 19years sure you can apply for NDA(National Defence Academy) Exam as for NDA Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

Through NDA you can join Defence Services namely India Army, Indian Navy & Indian Air Force.

To join any of these services you have to pass NDA Written test & Interview.

NDA Exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year as NDA I & NDA II.


To join Indian Army, you should be 12th passed in any stream from recognized school.

To join Indian Air Force, you should be 12th passed in PCM subjects from recognized school.

To join Indian Navy, you should be 12th passed in PCM subjects from recognized school.

To appear in NDA exam you should unmarried & Male aspirant.

For NDA, you must have an Indian Citizenship.


To join NDA you should be Physically & mentally prepared & must not have any physical disabilities.

Yes you can apply for the NDA exam as your age is 19 , for joining airforce / navy you should passed 12th exam with PCM subject , for joining army you should require to pass 12th any stream . NDA exams are taken by UPSC twice in the year . It has two phases first is written test and second is skill/ physical / interview test.
