Hello,
Only After completion of 10+2 you can apply for the NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC.

Nda exam(only male candidates are eligible) is conducted twice every year in April and in August..

If you are really that much interested in cracking NDA, then one good thing is you still have 2 more years to prepare well and good.

So first complete your 12th standard then you can apply here.For NDA exam there is not require any kind of percentage marks .

If you are rally interested in Defence after 10th then you have some option to join in BSF ,CIST ,ITBP ,CRPF .but the post are lower division .

This exams are conduct every year twice or thrice time so you can try for it.

For all post ,Your age is not over 24 years old.Age relaxation provide.

Selection process - Physical Test , Written test , Medical Test and Merit list .

12th pass with Phy and Maths as subjects for the Airforce and Navy wing

Age- Minimum 16.5 years

Minimum Height and weight required for the NDA exams is
Height - 152 Cms
Weight 45 Kg

So, pass your class 12th and than you can apply for the NDA exams.

Firstly you must have to clear class 12th or its equivalent exam from a

recognized university.

Secondly , For NDA exam your age should be between 16.5 -19 years of age.

Thirstily , NDA exam is for only unmarried male candidates.

No, you can not apply for NDA after 10th standard as the minimum academic qualification for NDA is 12th standard.

National Defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male. He should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board, He should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness, can apply for NDA after 12th.

So as you are interested for NDA, you must pass 12th first so that you will be eligible for it.

I am really sorry to say that being just a 10th class pass, I would have to say that you cannot apply for the NDA - National Defense Academy. This is one Entrance exam which is organized and conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year twice in the months of April and August.

This is done for the purpose of recruitment of the Defense personnel's for the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. So if you really wish to apply for this then you would have to be a minimum 12th class pass after you give your board exams. There are a few Eligibility Criteria's:-

-> The candidate should be a minimum 12th pass from ANY recognized school or state board in India.
-> He should be an unmarried Male Indian. Girls CANNOT apply for this examination.
-> Thirdly I would like you to note that ONLY Science candidates can apply for the 3 WINGS, rest the Commerce and Arts candidates can only apply for the Army.
-> The applicant should be physically and mentally fit.
-> Talking of the required age, it should be within 16.5 to 19 years.

Thus as per your present qualification, you would not be allowed to sit for this exam. Hence I would suggest you to take up the required subjects in your Class 12th examination and then after 2 more years you can apply for the NDA 2014.

I've just given my 10th board exams am i eligible to give nda exams?
And if i am where will i get syllabus?
And when will be the exam held?

To join Navy you need to give NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice in a yeari.e. NDA-I and NDA-II.

No after 10th you cannot apply for NDA exams.
Minimum qualification required to appear for NDA exams is 12th from a recognized university.

Educational Qualifications:
•Completion of 12th with PCM from any accredited board.
•Completion of 12th with Arts and Commerce for Army wing.

AGE LIMIT: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

Dear friend

Its good to see your eagerness at the early stage for the NDA exams but ,

As per the latest rules and regulations of Union Public service commission ,only those candidates who has either passed their intermediate level of education that is 10+2 from a recognized board or those who are appearing for it are eligible for the National defense academy examinations.

So 10th passed candidates are not allowed to appear for the exams.

This exam is conducted twice every year by the UPSC

The other requirements are as follows:

>>You must me unmarried male Indian citizen.

>>Your age must lie between the limit 16.5 to 19 years.No relaxations in upper age limit for the candidate of any category.

>>You should be physically and mentally fit and satisfy the physical requirements.

So first of all complete your 10+2 from a recognized board ,if you want to join Army then you can do it from any stream or if you want to join Navy of Airforce you will have to take Science stream .
