Only 12th standard candidates are eligible for NDA exam.

Procedure for NDA exam:-

1.Written test
2.Physical test
3.Medical
4.Interview

Written test is conducted by UPSC but others 3 steps are conducted by SSB.

Notification for NDA exam-

Date of Notification: 27th December 2014
Last date for submission of application: 23rd January 2015
Date of Examination: 19th April 2015

No, you cannot apply for NDA examination being a student of 11th standard. The NDA examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for the candidates who are interested to join in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings.

Indian Military Academy.

Indian Naval Academy.

The eligibility criteria to apply for NDA exam are as under:-

No you are not eligible for NDA entrance examination after Class 11th .The examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for those candidates who want to join Defense services .
The eligibility criteria is candidates ho have passed their class 12th examination and even the candidates who are pursuing in the 12th class can also apply .The candidates must have science stream in class 12 or even the commerce candidate with Maths as the main subjects can apply .

The age of candidates must be between 16.5-19 years .

The candidates have to go through to stages to join NDA :-
1.Written : It is of 900 marks in which Mathematics of 300 and General Ability of 600 marks are asked . There is negative marking on each wrong answer .

2. SSB :- Only candidates who qualify the written are called for it .

So you have to wait till your 12th .But application for NDA I are released in January and for NDA II in July .

So sorry you are not eligible to apply for National Defence Academy(NDA).
You will be eligible after completing your intermediate second year that is your 12 class..
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA:
1. You must be a citizen of India.
2.You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent to be eligible to appear in NDA examination.
3.age should not less than 16 years and not more than 19 years as the date of entrance test.

To apply for NDA ,candidate must be in 12th standard or has completed 12th with good marks. Educational quslification is one of the important requirement to apply for NDA.
Other essential requirements are:-
* age limit:- mimimum is 16.5 years and maximum is 19 years.
*must be residents of india
* only men are allowed to appear for the exam
* must be healthy physically and mentally.
* there should should be no eye related problems.

Selection procedure:-
1) written exam ( comprises of multiple choice questions).
2) SSB ( service selection board) for selected candidate. Selected candidate would be called for interview.
3 ) medical test
4) 4 years of rigorous training for qualified students.
