Can I apply for NET Exam having secured 62% in M.Phil?


Hie! I have completed my Mphil degree with 62%.Can i apply for NET Exam??? Plz Reply Me Fndz

Hello friend,
Since you hold a masters degree and have scored more than 55% marks in the same, you are definitely eligible to apply for the National Eligibility Test for lectureship.
Candidates are allowed to appear in the subject of their masters degree program.
There is no maximum age limit to apply for the same.

The National Eligibility Test (NET),conducted by University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine eligibility for
lectureship and
for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

The Test is conducted twice(months of June and December) in a year.

Eligibility:

1:You should have Master Degree from a recognized University and Colleges,you can also apply for the exam if your Result Awaited category, if you are appearing or has appeared in your final year of M.Sc. or equivalent degree examination.

2:You have to secure minimum 55% of marks in your Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination
3:There is no age limit for applying for lectureship.

4:If you apply for Junior Research Fellowship ,your age should not more than 28 years.

So,you are eligible to appear in NET.

Exam Procedure:
First Session:
unit I,of 100 marks of 1¼ Hours.

Unit II of 100 marks of 1¼ Hours.

Second session:,Unit III of 200 marks of 2½ Hours.

Dear friend,

After M.PHIL , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

With which degree i want apply for NET exam fndz??

I have completed my Mcom with 52% and Mphil with 62%

Hi!! I have scored 52% in my MA-English course. I have also completed my M.Phil-English course with 82%. Can I apply for the UGC NET exam with my M.Phil degree?
