if have completed my graduation in bachelor in foreign trade and mba in HR and MKTING. so can i apply for NET ?? and if yes what are my subjects or topics for study for that exam......

Since you have done MBA, a masters degree program, you will be considered eligible for National Eligibility Test, conducted by UGC, provided you have scored a minimum of 55% in your MBA.
However, if you belong to Sc/St category, you should have scored a minimum of 50% to be considered eligible for the test.
There is no age limit to apply for the exam, hence at any age, you may take the test.

As you have done MBA in HR and Marketing, you are eligible to take Human Resource Management, as your subject in the test.

Yes, You are eligible to apply for NET Examination if you have completed your Post graduate degree form a recognised University and you have to scored minimum 55% Marks in your Post graduation, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

This examination is Conducted by UGC twice in a year to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).

To apply for Lectureship Post, you have to attained the age of 19 years and there is no upper age restriction to apply for this Post.

But for Junior Research Fellowship Post, You have to attained the age of 19 years and not have attained the age of 28 years, upper age relaxation is applicable for Other Reserved Category Candidates.

This examination is Held in June and December Every year, For this year December NET Examination will be held on 24/Dec/2011.

So, If you are Interested in NET Examination, then please apply for this examination Next year, The Notification of Next year NET Examination will be Published on April, So please wait for the Notification and then apply, The examination fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill Online application form.

There are 3 Papers in NET Examination and all are conducted in same day and you have to choose the subjects in NET on the basis of your Post graduation and if you need more Information, then please check official website :

Yes you are eligible for NET exam after MBA course .The details about NET exam is given below.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.

UGC NET consists of three papers

1) General studies (50 objective questions)
2) Your optional paper (50 objective questions)
3) Your optional paper (Subjective questions)

Second paper will check only after qualifying the first paper and third paper will checked after qualifying the second paper.
