UPSC comprises of three sections Preliminary Examination which covers objective type questions, Mains which is subjective type questions and personal interview questions. Civil Services Examination is 3 levels-Preliminary Test, Main Examination and Personality Test.
For eligibility part, aspirant’s age limit should be between 19 to 40 years. Relaxation is also given for SC/ST candidates of 2 years as per the government norms. Also candidate should be Indian and must possess a graduation degree.

Irrespective of your percentage of marks in all the academic levels, you are eligible to become IAS Officer.

Because the minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to become IAS Officer is by completion of Graduation.

For this, one should crack civil services exam which is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.

The complete selection procedure would involve
Civil Services Aptitude Test
Civil Services Main Exam
Interview

CSAT Exam comprises of questions from the following categories
General English
Aptitude
Current Affairs

By having good preparation, you can crack this exam easily.

But Main Exam is too difficult. For this, you should have to select the optional subject and have good preparation for the same.

Many of the candidates will face problems in succeeding this exam. But if you have good preparation you can crack this Exam.

The final round of selection procedure would be Interview.

As per the age criteria,
Candidates of General category should possess an age of 21-30 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.

Prepare well for this exam and crack it.

Wish you all the best.
