Re: Required percentage in 10th and 12th to apply for IAS Exam?
For IAS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).
The selection procedure will be by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main Examination -Interview. In order to be eligible for IAS Exam, one should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. One should be eligible for IAS Exam only on the basis of Graduation and not on the basis of 10th and 12th. So, it is not the matter that the percentage of marks a candidate has secured in 10th and 12th and the only thing that is important is whether the candidate has completed Graduation or not. |

To become an IAS officer you must clear an exam conducted by
UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION. To appear for that exam you must be a graduate. So to become an IAS you just need pass percentage in 10th std and 12th std and also graduation. Nothing more than that.. |
