Hi there,

If your from Mechanical branch in your Diploma then you can only continue to do B tech/ BE in Mechanical only. no other choice of doing B tech in Civil or other Branches.

Though some of the subjects both Civil and mechanical have in common.

You have to take LEET examination. for lateral Entry admission into Engineering colleges.

Once you qualified and get a good rank you can go for counseling and choose colleges you prefer.

Direct admission into 3rd semester or 2nd year of B tech will be given,
