No, candidates who haven't qualified +2 level of exam from a recognized board are not eligible to appear for the NDA exam.
As per the UPSC guidelines, candidates applying for the Naval Wing and Air Force Wing of NDA must have qualified +2 with Physics and Maths whereas for the Army Wing of NDA, this combination of subject is not required.
Apart from being +2 qualified candidate, you must have attained the minimum eligible age, which is 16 years 6 months.
The maximum age limit is 19 years.

Nice to see your interest for defence services. But it is to inform you that you can join NDA-National Defence Academy only after passing 12th standard. Being in 11th standard you are not eligible for NDA.

- Well NDA offers following defence services as follows-

Indian Army

Indian Air Force

Indian Navy


-To join these fields, you will have to appear in NDA entrance Exam conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) Twice in a year generally as NDA I & NDA II.

-NDA is for only unmarried Male candidates.


Basic eligibility criteria for NDA Exam is as follows:

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any discipline from a recognised Central/State Board within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age with a good physical fitness.

The rgistration process for NDA-I has already been completed the exam will be held on 15.04.2012.

If you are interested you may apply for NDA-II, the notification iof which will come out in the month of May 2012.

The educational qualification for NDA is 12th standard. The age limit is 18-21 years. So you are not eligible as you are in 11th standard.

As in 11th standard you are not eligible to apply for NDA. You can join NDA only after passing 12th standard.
