Can I get direct entry to 3rd year B.E after doing diploma ECE after passing 12th science


Hi i am doing diploma ece after passing 12th (science) can i get direct entry to 3rd year BE and can i change my branch while joining BE if i can plz tel me to which branchs can i join?

hello friend generally for diploma candidates a entrance exam is conducted for admitting into b.tech and the candidates can join in 2nd year as lateral entry but not in 3rd year
Some universities conduct the b.tech subject exam after 2nd 1st semester and 2nd semester for diploma candidates, the subjects

1st semester :
1. Physics
2. c/c++

2nd semester :
1. Engineering Mechanics
2. Chemistry
3. english

my diploma mechanicl completed..then it is possible go to BE 3rd year...i am also second year science passed.....pls reply

I have 12 pass in science and doing diploma in ece can I get direct admission in b.tech second year without lateral entry test
