Re: Can I get into Army after completion of 10th standard?
The minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can make entry into Indian Army is by completion of 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized university.
For this, the candidate has to crack NDA Exam being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. This is the common Entrance Exam for the candidates to be placed in the following defence wings -Army wing -Navy wing -Air Force wing Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class can also apply for Army wing for this exam. As per required age criteria, a candidate should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam. One should be an unmarried male candidate to take up this exam. The selection procedure to be placed in above defence services is by -Written Exam -Interview So, I suggest you to complete your 12th class with any of the stream in which you are intereted. Have good preparation to this exam along with your academics. Try to be perfect in all the aspects of written exam by the time you apear for the exam. Quote:
hi friend, You can join in Indian Army since you have completed your Matriculation course but you can only join into posts like Soldier through exams like Indian Army Soldier General Duty Exam,Indian Army Soldier Technical Exam,Indian Army Soldiers Clerk/Store Keeper Exam. Hence its better that you go through your 12th standard from PCM background and then after go through the NDA exam through which you choose Indian Military Academy(IMA) as your first choice. You can get the notifications in "Employment News" and even in the following link http://indianarmy.nic.in/ You can even follow the given site for the type of posts and eligibility details http://www.upscexam.com/defence_examinations/Indian_Defence_Services_Army/ goood luck |

Re: Can I get into Army after completion of 10th standard?
You can get into Army as an Commissioned Officer after 10 2 only. i.e. after cracking UPSC National Defence Academy Examination. You have to sit for two papers, Maths & General Ability Test. NDA s a tough exam but the toughest part is SSB test. It may be in Allahabad, Bhopal or Bangalore. This Services Selection Board Test Comprises of two stage. If you got screen in, You will have to stay in the centre for the next four days. If you are recomended by the Board, you'l undergo Medical Test, that may take 6-8 days. After that, you'l have to report to NDA, Pune on a given date. You'l stay there for 3 yrs after which you'l join Indian Military Academy for 1 year. Post training, you'l be commissioned as an Indian Army Officer in the rank of Lieutanant.
Good Luck and keep checking www.upsc.gov.in, joinindianarmy.nic.in or www.indianarmy.nic.in |

Re: Can I get into Army after completion of 10th standard?
hi...!!
-->yes,my dear friend you can go for army after your 10th class. -->but my suggestion is that first you must complete your 12th standard and after that you can go for indian army because you age is less now and if you will go after +2 then you will also become mature. -->after +2 you can go through NDA exam. ->Yes you can give the NDA II entrance exam after giving your class 12 board exam. ->girls are not eligible for NDA . ->unmarried man are eligible. ->Here is the eligibility criteria, please check the eligibility criteria:- NDA entrance exam eligibility criteria:- >You should be minimum 12 pass out >age limit-16.5-19 yrs >you should be an unmarried citizen of india ->Exam pattern:- >paper i is mathematics of 300 marks >paper ii is the general ability divided into two parts:- >part A is english of 200 marks >part B is general knowledge of 400 marks >so total 900 marks Then there is the interview session on the basis of which you are chosen,so,always prepare the interview session carefully and give it with full confidence. ALL THE BEST.... For more information you can visit the official website i.g given as follows:- www.upsc.gov.in so,work hard my friend...!!! |
