Re: Can I get a seat in UPSC after attempting 12th 5 times?
Dear Friend
UPSC stands for the Union Public service commission. It is responsible for conducting lots of examinations every year and every examination has different eligibility criteria. The best thing about the UPSC exam is that it demands only the passing % of marks in the qualifying exam and it does not matter not in how many times you have completed your bachelor's degree or 10+2. The main thing is that you must have passed your 10+2 or graduation without any backlogs. So do not worry, you are eligible for the UPSC examinations that are based on 10+2. There are two examinations conducted by UPSC that are based on 10+2. First one is the SCRA that is Special class Railway Apprentice examination. It requires 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects. You age must be between 17-21 years. You must be an Indian citizen. Examination pattern: This year SCRA exam had been already conducted ,you will have to wait for SCRA 2014. The second examination is NDA that is National defense academy examinations conducted twice every year by the UPSC. It also requires 10+2 from a recognized board. The age limit is 16.5-19 years. You should be unmarried male Indian. Examination pattern: For any other details regarding both these examinations, please visit www.upsc.gov.in Hope the information helps you. all the best aashisranjan784 |
