Since you have good academic records certainly you can apply for campus placement. You will need to explain the reason of the gap with proof if possible. Normally you can expect this question during the HR round. Before that you should score well in the entrance exam. So prepare well for the same so that you are selected for the next round.

Since you have 2-3 years gap, there will be questions regarding the gap. You have secured 70%-75% marks, so you will be eligible to sit for campus placement. But you will have to explain them a valid reason for your gap and if needed then you have to produce them valid proofs. Once you clear the various rounds, you will surely get a campus placement. So instead of worrying about you should focus on securing good percentage and clearing the placement exams and interviews. Best of luck.

Hi....
Sometimes the criteria of the company is that they dont want any gap of year or one gap of year only so at that time you will face difficulty but if you will get through the eligibility criteria then you have to be ready to give then a valid reason for your gap in studies because they prefer the students who have no year gap over you.
