Upper age limit for NDA is 19 years. You can apply for the exam, if you are going to attend 12th class exam. For attending NDA 2013, date of birth of the candidate must lie between 02 January, 1995 and 01 July 1997. It does not mean that DOB requirements for attending NDA 2014 are 02 January, 1996 and 01 July 1998. It may slightly vary.

Eligibility for nda exam :
1. You must have passed 12th from any recognised board
2. Age should in between 16 1/2 years to 19 years
3. No age relaxation is provided in any case.
4. Only Unmarried Male candidates allowed.
5. You msut have studied physics, maths subjects in 12th

A candidate must be either:
1. A citizen of India, or
2. A subject of Nepal, or
3. A subject of Bhutan, or
4. A Tibetan refuge

Syllabus for entrace exam
1. Physics
2. Chemistry
3. Mathematics
(NCERT Level)

Selection Process :
1. Written exam
2. General knowledge
3. Physical test

There are 3 course in NDA
1. Naval training team
2. Air force training team
3. Army training team

Maximum age to apply for the NDA exams is 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any category of candidates in the NDA exams

NDA exams are held two times in a year

In 2013 NDA exams would be held on:

NDA 1 exam 2013 date: 14th April 2013: For this exam only candidates born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st July 1997 can apply

NDA 2 exam 2013 date: 11th August 2013: For this exam only candidates born between 2nd July 1995 to 1st January 1998 can apply

Minimum educational qualifications required to apply to the NDA exams is 12th pass.Class 12th student can also apply for the NDA exams.

So, if your date of birth falls between the above dates , than you can aply otherwise you cannot apply

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e .NDA-I and NDA-II.
This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

AGE LIMIT: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

If you want you can join N.D.A this year also.
You can apply in N.D.A-II, 2013

IMPORTANT DATE FOR N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2013
Date Of Notification:-04.05.2013
Last date of submission of form:-03.06.2013 (MONDAY)
Date of exam:-11.08.2013 (SUNDAY)

You can apply online or offline.

YES,you apply this exam. Beacuse you are eligible for N.D.A exam at age of 18 year.

So you must give NDA exam.

is it so that the age should be below 19 before the written exams????I mean I am 18 now n will turn 19 next year in September so can I give the 2014 nda exams??

no bro in 2020 u can not appear in NDA u should try for CDS

To apply for NDA & NA examination candidate should be 12th pass. Candidate between 16.5 years to 19.5 years can join NDA. Students with the age group between 15.5 to 18.5 can also apply for examination but he should 11th pass. The number of attempts depends upon the date of birth of the candidate.
