Re: Can I give NET exam after scoring 47 percentage in MA1
Hai,
Final year of post graduation students are eligible for NET(National Eligibility Test) but you need to have 55% of marks. You have only 47 % so score atleast 55% of marks in your post graduation and then after completion of your post graduation you can apply for NET exam. This exam conducted by the UGC(University Grants Commission) twice in a year. Eligibility criteria:- The candidate should be complete Master's graduation with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible. 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category candidates. Candidate must be a citizen of India. Age criteria for JRF(Junior Research Fellowship):- 28 years is the maximum age for JRF, and no minimum age limits. 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Age limits for Lectureship:- There is no age criteria for Lectureship. Syllabus:- For more details visit www.ugcnetonline.nic.in Best of luck. |
