i have taken science group (physics,chemistry,botany,zoology)without maths . do i have the eligibility to join in BITS . Please guide me through this

If you want to do B.pharma after 12th from BITS, then you are eligible to appear in BITS entrance exams.

But, if you want to take admission in All other Programmes, then you are not eligible.

Because to get admission in BITS, you have to scored minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

So, you cannot fullfill the creteria, So you are not eligible for get admission in BITS.

But, you will get admission in B.pharma courses.

for most of the courses in BITS maths is necessary.

for science group you can take only pharmacology group which is available in BITS.

you want to take admission in any other courses from bits except b.pham you need to have +2 level maths..

in case you dont have it and still want admission then you can give seperate exam of maths from NIOS(National Institute for Open Schooling).
pass this exam with gud marks so that ur PCB aggergarte is minimum 60% combined..

hence you can then apply for all the courses from BITS

you can do B.PHARM from bits pilani or its other branches having minimum 60% in ur 12th with PCB.

You could join bit after 12 but in medical area.Because generally bit is known for techniqecal field

yes, you can get admission in BITS to study B.pharma while you have not maths in your +2 standard that will be recovered through your first course of B.pharma so, you can join in BITS without maths in +2 standard.

1)You cannot go for Engineering Studies in BITS you required MATHS as major in 12th

Eligibility conditions for BITSAT :-
*Candidate must be passed with at least 80% marks in aggregate in PCM subjects in 12th class.
*Candidate should have minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
*only option you can do Microbiology and Pharmacy Degree

yes you can join but for biotechnology or for biology fields.

ya..dats not possible without Maths as subject..i agree with RAHUL k

first thing you must know is that you need analytical skills to study any kind of engineering .hence you must have studied maths to take up a course in engineering

its not possible without mathes...its really needed 4 eligibility

Students who are appearing for 12th examination in the year of the test or who have passed a year before only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT- test.
For admission to all the programmes except B.Pharm.(Hons.) and M.Sc.(Hons.) Biological Sciences:
Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

sorry friend but you are not eligible for bits as u not have maths in 12th , , , but if u want to do any medical course form bits then u are eligible , like in case of b.farma ,, but if u want to join engg courses u are not eligible.

sir i am cleared BCA from university of rajasthan,jaipur with 64%marks and 12th in art's with 70% marks and 10th in 54% marks so can I eligible for MCA in BIT Rachi Mesra?

after doing inter[bipc],what are the courses there to do in bits pilani?

how are the placements in the b pharm course in bits pilani
?and can this b pharm branch be changed after 1st year?

In BITS you are eligible for pharmacy. For pharmacy you should be +2 (PCM) with 60% marks from a recognized board.

And for other courses you should be +2(PCM) with 80% marks from a recognized board.

It depends on the stream you select in BITS

If you are taking engineering in BITS, it is necessary to have maths as a subject in 12th class

if you are applying for bpharm maths is not necessary

It is not possible to join bits pilani..

Eligibility criteria to join bits pilani is as follows:-

-for getting admission to bits for the integrated first graduation course, the aspirant must clear +2. It should be done from a recognized central or state board.

-they must pass the 10+2 with pcm. 80% of marks in pcm, minimum 60% marks in physics, chemistry, and mathematics subjects and sufficient aptitude in english needed for applying the test.

- the admission is on the basis of merit secured in bitsat. Once the aspirant is studying at any of the bitsat campus then they are not qualified to appear for the test.

The minimum eligibility criteria for the admission in the Birla Institute of Technology is that a candidate must have scored at least 80% marks in Physics,Chemistry and mathematics subjects with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
As you have not chosen mathematics you are not eligible to take admission in the BITS.
