Can I join Indian Military after 10th? Please reply

Yes its possible for you to join Indian Army but you wont be able to get higher posts as for that you will need to clear the NDA entrance test.

To be eligible for the NDA entrance test you will need to complete your 12th with Physics Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects.

Also after clearing you will have to appear for the Physical Fitness test then only you will be eligible to join Indian Army

If you want to join after 10th you can join but as soldier for that there are various exams one of them is Indian Army Soldier Technical Exam etc

well if you are interested in joining the Indian Army as an officer than I want to tell you that there is no option just after the 10th class you have to complete at least 12 standard in any of the stream and then only you would be eligible in giving the NDA as well as the direct technical entry. if you are bound to join the military just after the 10 th standard then you may only go for the normal selection procedure of OR(Other) ranks which basically includes the soldiers by the help of the various selection centers.

So, i would like to suggest you to complete your 12th with
-Physics,
-Chemistry and
-Maths

And then apply for National Defence Academy (NDA).

after getting selected through this you will get officer rank in Indian Army.

yes you are eligible but you will be given or start your career in army as a soldier rather than a officer. and after clearing medical test and physical test you will assign to different department like clerical, medical, war-soldier etc department.


But i suggest you to atleast complete your 12th class.you can now opt for an engineering career in the Army through Technical Entry Scheme, i.e by NDA...

Weight: 50 kg, relaxable for certain regions.

yea you may join in Military or Indian army after 10th pass. but you have to join as soldier. as your qualification is only 10th so you can not join in any official post of Indian army.

i think it's better to join in military after at least 12th. you should now take admission in 12th science with subject combination physics, chemistry and mathematics. after that appear in NDA examination and join in Indian army technical branch. also after graduation you may join in Indian army in higher official post. so it's better to join later than now although if you are interested to join in Military now then also you may join.

Yes your eligible for joining indian military as a soldier. But i suggest you to do

degree so that you can become an officer in "INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY"

through NDA exam.

For Indian Military Academy:

Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not

later than 1st January, 1993 only are eligible.

No you are not eligible to apply for the Indian Army after 10th.
There is not any entry scheme through which you can join Indian
army.

So you should have to be complete at least 10+2 to apply for the
various jobs of Indian Army.You can apply for the NDA exam after
the completion of your 10+2.
This exam is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

You can also enter through Technical Entry scheme after 10+2.
For this entry scheme also you should be 10+2 pass with Physics
and Maths and should have at least 70% aggregate marks.


So complete your 10+2 first to apply for the Indian Army.

You can apply for Indian Army after your 12th standard.

To get job in Indian Army,you have to give NDA exam.

NDA exam will held twice in a year.
