Can I join Marine Engineering after Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and scoring 60% in class 12th PCM?


Hello Sir, I passed my class 12th with Science scoring 60% in PCM,but I have completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering so can I join Marine Engineering with this criteria?

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering candidates are not eligible for B.Tech in Marine Engineering.

But you can apply for B.Tech in Marine Engineering. through 12th standard course.

So you can apply for JEE Main and Advance exam to get a seat in B.Tech in Marine Engineering.

Yes, you are eligible to join Marine Engineering after scoring 60% in class 12th PCM.

Since, you have done Diploma in Mechanical Engineering already, I recommend you to go for B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical engineering or Automobile Engineering.

You can directly join second year in B.E or B.Tech course through LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Examination).
