Can I join Merchant Navy after SSC?
Can I join the Merchant Navy or relevant courses after my SSC Board exam? Which all are the colleges I can join?

Eligibility criteria for joining Merchant Navy after Senior Secondary examination are:-
A candidate should have to finish 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English as primary subjects from a recognised board. Only Unmarried Male/Females are allowed to join this course. Normal vison is required. Admission is given after clearing written test, Interview & Medical test. Merchant Navy colleges in India are :- CV Raman college of Engineering. AMET University. Indian Maritime University. Chennai School of Ship Management And many more. You will get admission in different course of merchant navy thus you have to select appropriate course at the time of admission. |

Yes, you are eligible to join Merchant Navy courses after your senior secondary if following criteria are fulfilled :
1) You should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subjects in Class 12th. 2) You should be medically fit in every aspect. 3) You should pass entrance test followed by personality test. 4) You should be unmarried. Institutes that provides Merchant Navy courses : - Indian Maritime College, Chennai - Southern Academy of Maritime Studies.
